Alternative grading practices (AGP) are innovative concepts in terms of evaluation at the college level. Yet, back in 2018, the Conseil supérieur de l'éducation published a report encouraging Quebec teachers to renew their practices in order to evaluate students so that it truly counts. Unlike other pedagogical methods that promote student success, adherence to AGPs requires very few changes to activities already in place, across all programs. Let's see how it's done, based on concrete trial examples and their conclusions.
