Call for Contributions for the 2025 Thematic Issue
Curiosity that Enriches Action
Bringing Research and Teaching Closer Together
College teaching faces multiple challenges: student diversity, equity and inclusion issues, technological changes, student engagement and perseverance, evolving training needs, to name but a few. Research on college pedagogy offers answers to meeting these challenges, and to improving the quality of teaching and learning. Yet it is sometimes perceived as complex and remote from the realities of the field, leaving a gap between scientific and practical knowledge.
Is this gap truly insurmountable? We doubt it1. So how can we involve practitioners in pedagogical research and give them a voice? How can we make research activities and results known and recognized, so that they can be used by practitioners, decision-makers and the general public?
The editorial committee of the Pédagogie collégiale journal invites contributions from the entire community: researchers, teachers, pedagogical counsellors, administrators and other education professionals. We invite you to submit a proposal for an article that highlights ideas or actions that promote closer ties between the research and teaching communities.
