Description
This webinar focuses on immersive virtual reality (VR) serious games for learning scientific concepts.
In a context where student interest in science is declining, we thought that virtual reality activities could help motivate students, while enabling teachers to use more innovative pedagogical methods.
So we decided to create free, bilingual, collaborative VR games in biology, chemistry and physics.
We'll present them to you, along with all the relevant documentation, showing how you can use them in the classroom with your students.
Finally, we'll present the results of our survey of 15 teachers and 308 students who have experimented with the games in the classroom. The results highlight some of the benefits and challenges for both students and teachers.
The webinar is offered with simultaneous interpretation in English.
