With a wealth of experience in pedagogical counselling, Amélie supports technical and pre-university programs, as well as general education. Her engagement was reinforced at the École des métiers des Faubourgs-de-Montréal, where she supported various programs in health, beauty, fashion and horticulture. Before becoming a pedagogical counsellor, she was a vocational teacher at the École des métiers de l'aérospatiale de Montréal for 15 years, using her expertise as a machinist to ground her approach in the realities of the field.
Curious and innovative, Amélie favours active listening and interdisciplinary collaboration to meet the needs of teaching teams. Her interest in the evolution of pedagogical practices and her willingness to explore innovative solutions led her naturally to CP2. In this role, she contributes to the reflection on emerging issues in the college network and actively participates in the elaboration of concrete strategies to support the development of higher education.
Amélie is always ready to learn and share, and she particularly enjoys getting together with her colleagues, whether it's during lively discussions or even during a carpool that turns into an impromptu visit to a historical site!
