Alternative Grading Practices

AGPs (alternative grading practices) are a range of methods for evaluating learning that leverage the dual purpose of evaluation: to support learning and attest to achievement. In this community of practice, come and meet teachers who have implemented AGP approaches in their courses, and share your own innovations in this area.

The CoP-PAN is also an ideal place to discover what AGPs are and how they can contribute to student success, while balancing the concerns for rigour and support that come with evaluation. At the same time, AGPs make marking more satisfying, more useful, and often even faster, which is not to be overlooked!
