Présentation

The first part of this book features a range of concrete suggestions to help teachers develop their teaching strategies. The underlying idea is that it is often enough to change just a detail in the organization of the class to make the difference between a painful and a pleasant experience or wasted efforts and effective action.

The second part features many of those suggestions, which are grouped and developed around four themes:

• differentiated pedagogy;
• cooperative learning;
• formative assessment;
• the overall assessment.
