A team of teachers and professionals from the Collège Montmorency worked together to refine an approach that makes teaching practical know-how in science classes more effective. In addition to empowering students with respect to learning, the method aims, inter alia, at giving them greater mastery of knowledge and procedural skills. An instructional method; a four-step process; and support, verification, and correction tools were developed to make the work of teachers and lab technicians more consistent and give them more time for the practical instruction so important in their disciplines.
