Indigenization and decolonization

This new community of practice aims to provide a forum for teachers interested in developing and experimenting with pedagogical approaches that allow them to indigenize and decolonize their courses.

Co-hosted by Collège Ahuntsic's new Centre en autochtonisation et décolonisation and the non-profit organization Mikana, it invites teachers to put their own decolonial pedagogical initiatives into play. By sharing ideas with colleagues in the network, across all disciplines, they will nourish their practice and creativity as they meet.

Twice a year, Mikana will also offer a webinar to the community in response to the needs and issues raised by participants.
