Learning the Methodology of Intellectual Work, A Matter of Transversal Competencies

This article clarifies the contribution of Intellectual Work Methodology (MTI), in particular as it relates to colleges. The authors share their reflections on learning intellectual work methods and connecting them to a set of competencies. They stress the importance of a program-based approach, of integrating the learning to meaningful tasks and of implementing progression in learning. To illustrate their subject, they present a sequence of activities in the form of tables: An attempt to structure the gradual development of MTI competencies within a Humanities program.
