Integrating ICT Profile Skills into College Courses and Curricula

In the fall 2014 issue of Pédagogie collégiale (Vol. 27, No. 1), we featured a detailed article on the new version of the ICT Profile for College Students (revised that same year). Based on this account and penned by the same team of specialists attached to the IT REP Network, the second text describes a process to follow to suitably integrate Profile skills and objectives into a course or curriculum. Explanations are provided on each step involved and making the endeavour a success: the authors illustrate a gradual, constructive method whose starting point is an examination of the role played by ICTs in the course or program concerned; the ultimate objective is the development, implementation, and adjustment of the Profile. An impressive list of useful resources is also provided.
