Playful Learning and Life Skills, an Open Educational Resource (OER) at Your Fingertips!

Considered essential in a world undergoing profound change, life skills are developed in the context of shared interactions between people, and are acquired through education.

Play-based pedagogy is a promising approach to supporting the development of life skills, as it encourages affective involvement in education. With this in mind, an Open Educational Resource (OER) was designed in collaboration with college and university teachers. The OER includes theoretical and pedagogical content relating to play-based pedagogy, as well as a repository of activities aimed at developing interpersonal skills.

This webinar will present the OER creation process and content. In particular, video extracts presenting playful activities will be shared with participants so that they can reflect on the potential for transferability to their respective disciplines.
