Thomas is deeply invested in his students’ success. He strives to make learning fun and engaging, and to get his students interested. He is invested in finding ways to link knowledge across the different disciplines and to help students gain a holistic view of science. He feels strongly about the importance of good teaching. Even though a seasoned teacher himself, Thomas is always keen to learn new strategies, explore new ideas for his class, and share them with colleagues. He has also been a mentor for many new teachers and the program coordinator.
