Analysis Grid for an IT-Based Learning Activity
Based on the metaresearch on conditions for a successful pedagogical integration of ICTs, which is the “raison d’être” of the file on the Métarecherche sur les TIC en pédagogie: du diagnostic au pronostic, and with the help of the REPTIC network (réseau des répondantes et répondants TIC), the authors use this article to introduce an evaluation chart in the form of a questionnaire-chart. Designed to reflect as accurately as possible the principles resulting from the metaresearch, this chart can be used by teachers (individually or in teams) as well as by educational advisors in charge of ICTs who are assigned to support the teachers. In the form of a table, the authors also indicate the optimal matching – at the heart of all teaching-learning activity – of the roles of students and teachers with regard to the various ICT media, as well as different facets of the pedagogical strategies in place. A number of ways of using the chart are also provided. In conclusion, the authors believe that the evaluation chart of a pedagogical activity based on ICTs can facilitate the professional work of educational advisors and teachers in establishing a diagnosis or a prognosis for the scenario of a given pedagogical activity.
